to The Hop Garden

Location

Just twenty minutes over the Severn from the M4/M5 interchange, Tintern is an excellent stopping off point for trips up to Northern England or down to Cornwall.

We are 2.5-3 hrs drive from London, London airports or Birmingham. Bristol, Cardiff, Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within a 50 minute drive.

Road

From Cardiff: M4 to J23; M48 to J2; then follow A466.
From London: M4 to J21; M48 to J2; then follow A466.
From England it’s quickest to go over the Severn Bridge (Pont Hafren), not the Second Severn Crossing. Look out for the Chepstow exit immediately on the left as you leave the bridge.

Rail

There is a fast and direct service to and from London at Bristol Parkway. The nearest station is Chepstow.

Bus and Coaches

The nearest station is Chepstow. Buses travel through the village and will stop immediately outside the hotel – route 69, Chepstow – Monmouth.

If you’re arriving after 6pm, you’ll need to do self check in. It’s crucial you let Ed and Tori know upon booking which you’d like, so they can give you the correct directions.
